This letter is in support of Educational Training & Development and the services it provides to start-up and small businesses in the community. As a student and graduate of the ABC's of Starting a Small Business Workshop Series, I can attest to the benefits of the classes and Mrs. McClendon's teaching.

The workshop has given me the tools necessary to write a business plan and the skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur. As a student of the workshop, I received consultations on writing my business plan and designing my business. As a graduate of the worshop, I received a $500 micro grant from ETD to use toward my business.

Once my business plan and loan package were completed, Educational Training and Development, sought and found financing for my business. I received a $33,000 business loan within one month of scouting my business plan.

I can honestly say that if it were not for ETD and Mrs. McClendon, I would not have my business. She is a true inspiration. Her courses are extremely beneficial, and it is a much needed and important service to individuals thinking of starting a business. ETD definitely made it happen for me.
